No. 285|83-CENTRAL EXCISES

G.S.R. 879(E).—In exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government here- by makes the following amendment in the noti- fication of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 191|80- Central Excises, dated the 8th December, 1983, namely :—

In the said notification, for paragraph 2 the following paragraph shall be substituted, namely:—

"2. This notification shall be in force up to and inclusive of the 31st December, 1986".

G.S.R. 88O(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government here- by makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 142|81-Central Excises, dated the 8th July, 1981, namely :—

In the said notification, for paragraph 2, the following paragraph, shall be substituted, .name- ly :—

"2. This notification shall be in force up to and inclusive of the 31st December,

1986".
