S.O. 910(E).—In. exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Re- gional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976) the Central Government, on being requested so to do by State Bank of Saurashtra, establishes, with effect from the 15th December, 1983 a Regional Rural Bank in the State of Gujarat under the name of Surendranagar-Bhavnagar Gramin Bank, which shall operate within the local limits of the Districts of Bhavnagar and Surendranagar in the State of Gujarat.
2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART I I _ S E C. 3(ii)]S.O. 911(E).—In exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Re- gional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976) the Central Government, after consultation with the Reserve Bank of India and State Bank of Saurash- tra by which Suprendranagar-Bhavnagar Gramin Bank has been sponsored, specified Bhavnagar as the place where Surendranagar-Bhavnagar Gramin Bank shall have its head office.

S.O. 912CE).—In pursuance of sub-clause (iii) of clause (a) of sub-section (6) of section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934) the Central Government hereby notifies, for the purposes of the said sub-clause, Surendranagar- Bhavnagar Gramin Bank, Bhavnagar being an institution established Und6r subjection (1) of Section 3 of the Regionl Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976).

M2|83-RRB(IID] S.O. 913(E).—In exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Re- gional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976) the Central Government hereby appoints Shri H. R. Pavagadhi as Chairman of the Surendranagar- Bhavnagar Gramin Bank, Bhavnagar and speci- fies the period commencing on the 15-12-1983 and ending with the 31-12-1986 as the period for which the said Shri H. R. Pavagadhi shall hold office as such chairman.

S.O. 914(E).—In pursuance of clause (a) sub- section (6) of Section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934) the Reserve Bank of India hereby direct the inclusion in the Second Schedule to the said Act of the following bank, namely :—
^Surtendranagar-Bhavnagar Gramin Bank.
