NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 23rd December, 1983
G.S.R. 914(E).—The following Order made by the President on 14th December, 1983 is published for general information;—
THE STATES REORGANISATION (GOVERNORS' ALLOW- ANCES AND PRIVILEGES) SECOND AMENDMENT ORDER, 1983.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 73 of the States Reorganisation Act, 1956 (37 of 1956), the President hereby makes the following order further to amend the States Reorganisation (Governors' Allowances and Privileges) Order, 1,957, namely:—
1. This Order may be called the States Reorganisation (Governors' Allowances and Privileges) Second Amendment Order, 1983.
2. In paragraph 8 of the States Reorganisation (Governors' Allowances and Privileges) Order, 1957, after sub-paragraph (5) the following sub-paragraph shall be added, namely:—
"(6) In addition to the allowances and privileges refer- red to in paragraph 7, there shall be charged on and paid out of the Consolidated Fund of the State of Rajasthan to the Governor of Rajasthan an amount of Rs. 1,50,000 during the year 1983-84 for furnishing the Raj Bhavan."
