ORDER
New Delhi, the 29th December, 1983
S.O. 935(E)|18AA|IDRA|83.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 618(E)|18AA|JX>RA|79 dated the 31st October, 1979 (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), the Central Government had authorised the Secretary, Closed and Sick Industries Department, now called Secretary, Industrial Reconstruction Department, Government of West Bengal, Calcutta (hereinafter referred to as the said authorised person) to take over the management of Messrs Sree Saraswati Press Limited, 11, Barrackpore Trunk Road, Belgharia, Calcutta (hereinafter re- ferred to as the said industrial undertaking) for a period of three years from the 31st October, 1979;
And, whereas, by the Orders of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) Nos. S.O. 768(E)[18AA| IDRA|82, dated the 30th October, 1982, S.O. 347(E)|18AA|IDRA|83, dated the 30th April, 1983 and S.O. 780(E)[18AA;_IDRA]83, dated the 29th October, 1983, the duration of the said Order was extended for a further period upto and inclu- sive of 31st December, 1983;
And, whereas, the Central Government is of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the management of the said industrial under- taking by the said authorised person should con- tinue for a further period upto and inclusive of the 30th June, 1984;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-section (2) of section 18AA of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby directs that the said Order shall continue to have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of the 30th June, 1984.
