G.S R. 933(E).—In exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. l|83-Central Excises, dated the 1st January, 1983, namely :—
2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PARF [I—SEC, No. 333|83-CUSTOMSG.S.R. 934(E).—In exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Cus- toms Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Gov- ernment, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the follow ing amendment in the notification of the Govern- ment of India in the Ministry of Finance (Depart- ment of Revenue) No. 2|83-Customs, dated the 1st January, 1983, namely :—
In the said notification, in para 2, for the figures, letters and words "31st day of December, 1983", the figures, letters and words "31st day of Decem- ber, 1984" shall be substituted.
