New Delhi, the 31st December, 1983S. O. 948(E)|18AA|IDRA|83.—Where- as by the order of the Govt, of India in the late Ministry of Industry and Civil 12S4GI/83 (1)

Supplies (Department of Industrial Deve- lopment) No. S.O. 375 (E), dated the 22nd July, 1975, read with the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Development of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 405(E), dated the 20th June, 1977; S.O. No. 406(E),.dated the 16th July, 1979; S.O. 9560E), dated the 21st July, 1980; S.O. No. 575(E), dated the 20th July, 1981; S.O. No. 515(E), dated the 21st July, 1982 and S.O. 27CE), dated the 19th January, 1983 and S.O. No. 514(E), dated the 21st July, 1983, the management of the industrial undertakings known as Messrs Gluconate Limited, Calcutta, had been taken over by the body of persons referred to in the Order first mentioned for a period upto and inclusive of the 31st December, 1983.

And, whereas, the Central Government is of opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the management of the said industrial under- taking by the said body of persons should continue for a further period upto and inclusive of the 30th June, 1984;

Now therefore, in exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-section (2) of section 18AA of the Industrial (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government here- by directs that the Order first mentioned shall con- tinue to have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of the 30th June, 1984.
