ORDER
New Delhi, the 31st December, 1983
S.O. 95O(E)|18FA|18AA|IDRA!83.—Where- as by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industrial Development No. S.O. 128(E)|18FA)18AA|1DRA|73, dated the 5th March, 1973, the Central Govt, had authorised a body of persons (hereinafter referred to as the authorised person) to take over the management of the whole of the industrial undertaking known as Messrs Krishna Sillicate and Glass Works Limited, Calcutta, for a period of five years from the 5th March, 1973;
And whereas, by the Orders of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 146(E)|18FA| 18AA|IDRA|78, dated the 3rd March, 1978, No. 145(E)|18FA|18AA|IDRA|80, dated the 5th March, 1980, No., S.O. 144
And whereas the Central Government, being of the opinion that it was expedient in the interest of general public that the authorised person should continue to manage the said indusrial undertak- ing, made an application under the proviso to sub- section (2) of section 18FA of the Industries (De- velopment and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), to the Calcutta High Court praying for the continuace of such managementmen for a fur- ther period upo 31st December, 1984;
And whereas the said High Court by its Order dated the 22nd December, 1983 permitted the authorised person to continue to manage the said industrial undertaking for a further period upto 31st December, 1984;
And, now in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-section (2) of section 18FA, read with section 18AA, of the said Act. the Central Government hereby directs the authorised person to continue to manage the said industrial undertaking for a further period of one year from 1st January, 1984 to 31st December, 1984.
