New Delhi, the 4th January, 1984

S.O. 4(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the Ex- planation to sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Foreign Contribu- tion (Regulation) Act, 1976 (49 of 1976), the Central Government hereby specifies "Deeni Taleemi Council (a society registered under the Societies Registration Act), Uttar Pradesh, 99, Gwynne Road, Lucknow-226001" to be an "organisation of a political nature, not being a political party"', for the purposes of trie said Act.
