G.S.R. 17(E ) .- In pursuance of the provisions of sub -clause ( ii) of clause (c ) of sub- section ( 1 ) of section 3 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963 ) , and in supersession of the noti . fication of the Government of India in the Ministry of Shipping and Transport ( Ports Wing) No. G.S.R. 46(E) , dated 5-2-1982, the Central Government hereby specifies the number of persons mentioned in colu nn 4 of the Table below to be elected by each of the bodies to represent each of the interest shown respectively in columns 2 and 3 of the sald Table , on the Board of Trustees of the Port of Calcutta :
Provided that in the case of bady mentioned against serial numbers 1 , 7, 8 and 9 of the said Table being owned or con- trolledby the Government , the persons to be elected by such body shall be appointed by the Central Government .

सा०का० नि० 23 (ब) महापत्तन ग्यास अधियिनम, 1963 (1963 का 38 ) की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 1 ) के खंड ( ग ) के नौवहन और परिवहन मंत्रालय ( पत्तन पक्ष ) की अधिसूचना सं ० सा ० का० नि० 52 (अ) दिनांक 8-2-1982 का अधिक्रमण करते हुए केन्द्रीय सरकार परादोप पत्तम के न्यासी मंडल में निम्नलिखित सारणी के कामन 2 और 3 में वर्णित प्रत्येक हित या प्रतिनिधित्व करने के लिए प्रत्येक निकाय द्वारा निर्वाचित किये जाने वाले उक्त सारणी के कालम 4 में वर्णित व्यक्तियों को संख्या की विनिविष्ट करती है ।
परन्तु सरकार के स्वामित्र अथवा नियंत्रणाधीन उक्त सारणी को क्रम सं ० 5 और 6 के सामने वर्णित निकायों की दशा में ऐसे निकायों द्वारा निर्वाचित किये जाने बाले व्यक्ति केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा नियुक्त किए चायेंगे ।

2. उपरोक्त अधिनियम की धारा 3 की उपधारा ( 4 ) का अनुसरण करते हुए केन्द्रीय सरकार 25 फरवरी , 1984 को समाप्त होने वाली अवधि के रूप में विनिर्दिष्ट करती है जिसके भीतर न्यासियों का निर्वाचन कियाजाएगा ।

In pursuance of the provisions of sub -clause (ii) of clause (c) of sub -section ( 1 ) of section 3 of the Major Port Trusts , Act, 1963 ( 38 of 1963) , and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Shipping and Transport (Ports Wing) , No. G.S.R. 52 (E) , dated 8-2-1982, the Central Government hereby specifies the number of persons mentioned in column 4 of the Table below to be elected by each of the bodies to represent each of the interests , shown respectively in columns 2 and 3 of the said Table, on the Board of Trustees of the Port of Paradip :
Provided that in the case of body mentioned against serial numbers 5 and 6 of the said Table being owned or controlled by the Government, the persons to be elected by such body shall be appointed by the Central Government .
