New Delhi, the 17th January, 1984 NO. 12/84-CUSTOMS

O.S.R. 38(E): -In exercise of the powers conferred by subjection 0)

of section 25 of the Customs Act, 196.' (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied (hat it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts goods specified in column (2) of the Table •inncteil hereto, fulling within Chapter 29 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tar ill' Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), whcn imported into India by a^tuil uicrs for the ininul'aiHui'e of prickles specified in column (3) of the said Table, from so much of that poition ol the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specified in the Raid First Schedule as is in excess of the amount c '1- culated at the rate of 60 percent ad -valorem.
