Central Government, on being requested so to do by Bank of India establishes, with effect from the 21-1-1984 a Regional Rural Bank in the State of Maharashtra under the name of Solapur Gramin Bank which shall operate within the local limits of the District of Solapur in the State of Maha- rashtra.

New Delhi, the 20th January, 1984S.O. 30(E).—In exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976) the Central Government, after consultation with the Reserve Bank of India and Bank of India by which Solapur Gramin Bank has been sponsored specifies Solapur as the place where Solapur Gramin Bank shall have its head office. S.O. 29(E).—In exercise of the powers confer- red by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Region- al Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976) the [No. 1-6|83-RRB(II)] 1332 GI/83 (1)

S.O. 31(E).—In pursuance of sub-clause (iii) of clause (a) of sub-section (6) of section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934) the Central Government hereby notifies, for the pur- poses of the said sub-clause, Solapur Gramiu Bank, Solapur being an institution established under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976).

S.O. 32(E).—In exercise of the powers confer- red by sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Region- al Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976) the Central Gvernment hereby appoints Shri Dattatra- ya Dhondeo Joshi as Chairman of the Solapur Gramin Bank, Solapur and specifies the period commencing on the 21-1-1984 and ending with the 31-1-1987 as the period for which the

NOTIFICATION

S.O. 33(E).—In pursuance of clause (a) cf sub-section (6) of Section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934) the Reserve Bank of India hereby directs the inclusion in the Second Schedule to the said Act of the following bank, namely :

"Solapur Gramin Bank, Solapur (Maharash- tra)".
