S.O. 63(E).~In exetcise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 5 read with sub-section (I) of section 6 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956), the Central Government hereby appoints Shri R, Garmpati. Secretary. Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure to be a Member of the University Grants Commission for a term of three years vice Shri C. G. Somiah.
