New Delhi, the 2nd February, 1984S.R.O. 4-(E).—In exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-section (1) of Section 14 of the Cantonments Act, 1924 (2 of 1924), the Central Government being satisfied that for the adminis- tration of the Cantonment, it is desirable to vary the constitution of the Cantonment Board, Mee- rut. hereby makes a declaration to that effect and (1) 1374 GI/83—1

S.R.O. 5-(E).—In pursuance of sub-section (3) "f Section 14 of Cantonments Act, 1924(2 of 1924) read with the notification of the Govern- ment of India in the Ministry of Defence No. SRO 4E dated 2nd February, 1984, published in the Government of India, Extraordinary Gazette, Part II, Section 4, dated 2nd February, 1984, the Central Government hereby notifies that the following two persons have been nominated to be the members of the Cantonment Board, Mee- rut with effect from 2nd February, 1984:—

nominated under clause(b) of sub-section(2) of section 14.

2. Shri S.P. Ahluwalia

nominated under clause(c) of sub-section(2) of section 14.
