G.S.R. 56(E)-—In exercise of the powers conferred bv sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, beins satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in (he notification of the Govern- ment of fndia in Kie Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue I No. l/7/78-Ctistoms [No. GSR M8Hi)\. dated the 9th June, 1978, namely :—

hi the First Schedule to ihe said notification, against serial No. 3, in column 2, for the entry "Mate and spices", the entry "Mate, spices and tea"' shall be substituted.
