G.S.R. 69(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section (4) of section 45 of the Finance Act, 1983 (11 of 1983), the Central Government, being satisfied thai it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of Tndia in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No, 126|83-Customs, dated the 13th May, 1983, namely :—
In the Schedule to the said notification, after Serial No. 246 and the entry relating thereto, the following Serial No. and entry shall be inserted, namely :—
"247 Nd. 21|84-Oustoms, dated the 15th February,
1984,"

O.S.R. 70(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred bv sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts ane set of pre-recorded cassettes accompanying books for earning languages and essential complement to such books, #hen imported into India, from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon under the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975).
