FOREIGN TRAVEL TAX
G.S.R. 71(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sec- tion 36 of the Finance Act, 1979 (21 of 1979), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary and expedi- ent so to do, hereby exempts delegates coming to attend the First Conference of the Asian Forum of Parliamentarians of Population and Development to be held in New Delhi from the 17th February, 1984 to the 20th February, 1984, from the payment of foreign travel tax leviable under sub-section (1) of section 35 of the said Act, in respect of their international journey to any place outside India at the close of
the said Conference.
