ORDER

New Delhi, the 18th February, 1984

G.S.R. 76(E)|Ess. Com.|Sugar.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause 5 of the Sugar (Control) Order, 1966, the Central Government hereby directs that every producer of Khand- sari (open pan sugar) shall decJavo to the* speciflc authority—

(i) his opening stocks of khandsari as on the 1st and 16th of every month from March to September, 1984; and

(ii) the quantity of khandsari produced in each fortnight from the 1st March, 1984 to the 30th September, 1984.

Explanation : For the purpose of this Order, "specified autho- rity" means the Collector of the District in which the producer's khandsari unit is located or such other authority as the State Gov- ernment may specify in this behalf.

2. This Order shall come into force at once.
