Subject :—Scheme of Exports under OGL : 3 of certain Fabrics and | or Made-ups items made from Cotton, Wool and Man-made Fibres to USA, Canada, Austria, Finland and Sweden from
1-1-1984 to 31-124984.
F. No. 2(56)|83|E-L—Attention is invited to Public Notice No. 40-ETC(PN)|83, dated the 14tjh September, 1983, on the above subject.
2. In Para 6, Line 4, Page 3 of the above Public Notice for the words "50 Paise|dozen" read "50 Paise|Kg. in case of all categories]count- ries where the unit of allocation is in Kilogram".
3. Para 9.2 at page 4 of the above Public Notice shall be substituted by the following :—
"In cases where the utilisation is not less than 75% within the validity period, the exporters may be given the option to seek extension for the next allotment period within the export entitlement year. Applications for extension shall be filed within one month of t'^e end of the relevant period. In such cases, the exporter will have to execute a bond supported by Bank Guarantee at double the rates as given in para 6 of the Public Notice dated 14-9-83. In the case of his failure to export fully, the bondjbank guarantee will be liable to be forfeited in full".
4. In Part (a) of Para 13(A)(i) at page 5 of the above Public Notice for the words "Visa for all Mill-made fabrics and made-ups consignments valued over US $ 250" read "Visa for all Mill- made and Powerloorn Fabrics and Made-ups con- signments valued over US $ 250".
5. Existing condition against para l3(A)(ii) at page 5 of the above Public Notice will be re- numbered as (a) and following shall be added after that as under :—-
(b) "Certificate of origin for non-restraint items of Powerloom|Mill-made|Knitted Origin".
6. All other terms and conditions of the above
Public Notice shall remain unaltered.
