G.S.R. 81(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

section (1) of the section 7.5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is neces- sary in the public interest so to do, hereby niaires the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue¹ No. 246183-Customs, dated the 25th August, 1983, namely :—

In the said notification, paragraph 2 shall be omitted.
