NOTIFICATION
FOREIGN TRAVEL TAX
G.S.R. 88(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sec-
tion 36 of the Finance Act, 1979 (21 of 1979), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary and expedient so to do, hereby exempts delegates coming to attend the Third Inter- national Conference of Appellate Judges and Commonwealth Chief Justices to be held in New Delhi from the 5th March, 1984 to the 10th March, 1984, from the payment of foreign travel tax leviable under sub-section (1) of section 35 of the said Act, in respect of their international journey to any place outside India at the close of the said Conference.
2. This Notification shall remain in force upto and inclusive
of the 15th March, 1984.
