G.S.R, 227(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), tt\e Central Government, being satisfied that i< is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amend- ment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 76-Customs, dated the 31st March, 1978, namely :—

In Paragraph 2 of the said notification, for the figures, letters and words "31st day of March, 1984", the figures, letters and wrrds "?lst day of March, 1985" shall be substituted.
