ORDER
New Delhi, the 30th March, 1984
S.O. No. 224|18AA|IDRA]84.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Minis- try of Industry (Department of Industrial Deve- lopment) No. S.O. 825(E)|18AA|IDRA|76, dated the 23rd December, 1976 (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), the management of the whole of the industrial undertaking known as Messrs Cauvery Spinning and Weaving Mills Limited, Pudukottai, was taken over under clause (b) of sub-section ( I) of section 18AA of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), for a period of five years from the 23rd December, 1976, and the Tamil Nadu Textile Cor- poration was authorised to take over the manage- ment of the whole of the said industrial undertak- ing;
And, whereas, by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S. O. 906(E)j 18AA|IDRA|81, dated the 22nd December, 1981, the period of the said Order was extended for a further period of six months upto and inclusive of the 22nd June, 1982;
And, whereas, by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 437 (E)( 18AA|IDRA|82, dated the 22nd Tune, 1982, the period of the said Order was extended upto and inclusive of the 30th September, 1982;
And, whereas,, by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 699 ( E )| 18AA]IDRA[82, dated the 30th September, 1982, the period of tlu said Order was extended upto and inclusive of the 31st March, 1983;
And, whereas, by the Order of the Governmeni of India in the Ministry of Industry (Departmeni of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 272 (Ej 18AA|IDRA(83, dated the 31st March, 1983, (he period of the said Order was extended upto and inclusive of the 30th September, 1983;
And, whereas, by the Order of the Governmeni of India in the Ministry of Industry (Departmeni of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 696 (E) 18AA|TDRAl83, dated the 29th September, 1983 the period of the said Order was extended upto anc inclusive of the 31st March, 1984;
And, whereas, the Central Government is of th< opinion that it is expedient in the public interes that the said Order should continue to have effec for a further period upto and inclusive of the 30th September, 1984;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers con ferred by sub-section (2) of section 18AA of th< Industries (Development and Regulation) Act 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government here by directs that the said Order shall continue t< have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of the 30th September, 1984.
