S.O. 225(E)|18AA|IDRA[84.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. No. 752(E)|18AA| IDRAJ77, dated the 4th November, 1977 (herein- after referred to a^ the said Order), the manage- ment of the whole of the industrial undertaking known as Messrs Somasundaram Super Spinning Mills, Muthanendal, Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu, was taken over under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 18AA of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), for a period of five years from the 4th November, 1977, and the Tamil Nadu Textile Corporation was authorised to take over the management of the whole of the said industrial undertaking;
And, whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 7 7 8 ( E )| 18AA|IDRAl82, dated the 3rd November, 1982, the period ot the said Order was extended for a further period of six months upto and inclusive of 3rd May, 1933;
And, whereas, by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 3 5 0 ( E )| 18AA|IDRA|83, dated the 2nd May, 198?, the period of the said Order was extended upto and inclusive of the 30th September, 1983;
And, whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. No. 697(E)[ 18AA|IDRA|83 dated the 29th September, 1983, the period of the said Order was extended upto and inclusive of the 31st March, 1984;
And, whereas, the Central Government is of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the said Order should continue to have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of 30th September, 1984;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers con ferred by sub-section (2) of section 18AA ot Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereb' directs that the said Order shall continue to havi effect for a1 further period upto and inclusive o the 30th September, 1984.
