ORDER
New Delhi, the 30th March, 1984
S.O. 226(E) 118AA1IDRA184.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industrial Development No. S.O. 22(E)|18AAiIDRA|73J dated the 15th January, 1973 (as amended by the Order of the Govern- ment of India in the late Ministry of Industrial Development No. S.O. 794(E)il8AA|IDRA|73, dated the 27th December, 1973), (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), the management of the industrial undertaking known as Shri Janki Sugar Mills and Company, Doiwala, District Dehradun (Uttar Pradesh) (hereinafter referred to as the said industrial undertaking) was taken over under sub-section (1) of Section 18AA of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 C65 of 1951) for a period of five years upto and inclusive of 14th January, 1978 and the Cent- ral Government had authorised the Uttar Pradesh State Sugar Corporation Limited to take over the management of the said industrial undertaking;
And, whereas, the duration of the said Order was extended upto and inclusive of 14th January, 1980 by S.O. 15(E)|18AA|IDRA|78, dated 13th January, 1978; upto and inclusive of 14th January, 1982 by S.O. 15(E)|18AA|IDRA|8O dated 11th January, 1980; upto and inclusive of 30th Sep- tember, 1982 by S.O. 16(E)|18AA|1DRA|82 dated the 13th January, 1982; upto and inclusive of 30th September, 1983 by S.O. 698(E)|18AA| IDRA|82, dated 30th September, 1982; and upto and inclusive of the 31st March, 1.984 by S.O. 693(E)|18AAIIDRA|83, dated 29th September, 1983;
And, whereas, the Central Government is of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the said industrial undertaking should con- tinue under the management of the Uttar Pradesh State Sugar Corporation Limited for a further period of six months, upto and inclusive of 30th September, 1984;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-section (2) of section 18AA read with the proviso to sub section (2) of section 18A of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby directs that the said Order shall continue to have effect for a further period upto and inclu- sive of 30th September, 1984.
