G.S.R. 264(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of Section 13 of the Central Sales Tax Act, 1956 (74 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the follow- ing rules further to amend the Cenir.il Sahs fax (Registration and Turnover) Rules, 1957, namely :—
J. (i) These rules may be called tiie Cent.al Sales Tax (Regis-
tration and Turnover) (Amendment) Rules, 1984.
(ii) They shall pome inio force on the date of their publi-
cation in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Central Sales Tax (Registration and Turnover; Rules, 1957, in rule 12, in sub-rule (I), in the second proviso, for the word and figures "Rs. 10,000', the word and figure:; "Rs. 25,000" shall be. substituted.
