S.O. 251(E).—The Central Government, hav- ing considered in consultation with the Forward Markets Commission, the application for recogni tion made under section 5 of the Forward Con tracts (Regulation) Act, 1952 (74 of 1952), by the Meerut Agro Commodities Exchange Com- pany Ltd., Meerut and being satisfied that it would be in the interest of the trade and also in the public interest so to do, hereby grants, in ex- ercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the said Act, recognition to the said Exchange for a period of two years from the 7th April, 1984 to the 6th April, 1986 (both days inclusive) in res- pect of forward contracts in gur.
