Subject ;—Export Policy of Gold Jewellery.
F. No. 21 |6j84|E-I.—Attention is invited to the licensing policy foi export of Gold Jewellery appearing against Sl. No. 95 of the Policy Statement at page 31 of the Import and 'Export Policy Book (Volume-Il) 1984-85.
2. It has been decided that export of Gold Jewellery will be permitted by endorsement of shipping bills by the concerned port licensing authorities in accordance with the provisions of the Gold Jewellejv Export Promotion and Replenishment Scheme notified under Import Trade Control Public Notice No. 18-ITC(PN)!84 dated 12th April, 1984.
3. Accordingly, the existing condition appearing in Col. 3 against Sl, No. 95 of the Policy Statement at page 31 of the Import

and Expori Policy Book (Vol. II), \9M 85 shall be substituted by the following :—
"Export allowed by endorsement of Shipping Bills by the Handicrafts and Handloonv; Export Corporation under the Scheme for Export of Gold Jewellery against Gold Supplied by ilv Foreign Buyer and by the Port Licensing Authorities under the Gold Jewellery Export Promotion and Replenishment Scheme."
