G.S.R. 284(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub- Section (1) of Section 13 of the Foreign Exchange Regulation Act, 1973 (40 of 1973) and in partial modification of the notification of the Government of India in the Minify of Finance No. 12(11)- F. 1148, dated the 25th August, 1948, the Central Government hereby orders that the State Bank of India, constituted under the State Ban]; of India Act, 1955 (23 .it 1965), may import into India JIDV gold for the purposes of the Gold Jewellery Export Promotion and Replenishment Scheme, notified by the Govern- ment of India in the Ministry of Commerce, in the Public Notice No. I8|1TC(FN)|84 dated the 12th April, 1984.
