G.S.R. 294(E):—In exercise of the powers con- ferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, thereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 36/84-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1984, namely :—
In the said notification, for the word "paper" the
words "paper or paperboard" shall be substituted.

G.S.R. 295(E)-—In exercise of the powers conferred by "ub-section (1) of section 2* of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read wuh sub-clause (4) of clause 36 of the Finance Bill 1984, which clause has, by virtue of the declaration made in the said Bill under the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1931 (16 of 1931), the force of law, the Central Government, being satisfied that it is nicibhaiy in the public interest so to do, hereby direct that each ol the notifications of the Govern- ment of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Reve- nue) specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table.
