NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 25th April, 1984
S.O. 318(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 47 of the Indian Railways Act, 1890 (9 of 18,90), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments to the Railway Passengers (Cancellation of Tickets and Refund of Fares) Rules, 1976, namely :—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Railway Passengers (Cancellation of Tickets and Refund of Fares) Amendment Rules, 1984.
(2) They shall come into force on the 1st May, 1984.
2. In the Railway Passengers (Cancellation of Tickets and Refund of Fares) Rules, 1976, in sub-rule (2) of rule 5, for the words "50 paise per ticket", the words "One Rupee per ticket" shall be substituted.
