NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th April, 1984
G.S.R. 316(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sec- tion 83 of the Standards of Weights and Measures Act, 1976 (60 of 1976), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Standards of Weights and Measures (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 1977, namely:—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Standards of Weights and Measures (Packaged Commodities) Amendment Rules, 1984.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication
In the Official Gazette.
2. In the Standards of Weights and Measures (Packaged com- modities) Rules, 1977, in the "Note" in the end of the Third Schedule, for the figures and word "30th April, 1984", the figures and word "31st may, 1984" shall be substituted.
