G.S.R. 328 (E).—In exercise of the'ppwen&^conferred by sub- section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India hi the Ministry of Finance (Department Of RQVe*me)-*No%278|£2- Customs> dated the 16th December, 1982, the G_*nt"i} government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the publje interest so to do, herebv exempts coffee, falling under Heading No. 1 of the Second Schedule to the Customs Tariff Apt, 4975 (51 of 1975), when exported out of India, from so much of the dut> of customs leviable thereon under the said Second Schedule as is in excess of Rs. 640 per quintal.
