S.O. 365(E).—la exercise of the powers conferred by sub-

clause (a) of clause (I) of article 80 of the Constitution of India, read with clause (3) of that article, the President is pleased to nominate to the Council of States the following three persons, namely :—

1. Prof. (Mrs.) Asima Chatterjee 2. Shri K. Ramamufthy 3. Shri Ghulam Rasool Kar

to fill the seats of the three nominated members to he Council of States who retircd-on 13th April, 1984 on the expiration of their terms of office.
