S.O. 369 (E) :—Whereas the President, in exercise of the, powers conferred on him by sub-clause (a) of clause (1) of article' 80 of the Constitution, read with clause (3) of'that articler'has nominated three members of the Council of States to fill the seats of three nominated members in that House, who retired .on-ihcj 13th April, 1984 on the expiration of their term of office ;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 71 of the Representa- tion of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the names of the following three members nominated by the President, are hereby notified for general information :—
1. Prof. (Mrs.) Asima Chotterjee 2. Shri K. Ramamurthy 3. Shri Ghulam RasooJ Kar
