S.O. 392(E)|18A|1DRA|84.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Ministry of Industrial Development No. S.O. 725(E)[18A| IDRA|72, dated the 25th~November, 1972 (herein- after referred to as the said Order), a Board of Management was authorised to take over the manage- ment of the whole of Industrial Undertaking known as •Messrs India Machinery Company Limited, Howrah, for a period of five years upto and inclusive of the 24th November, 1977";
And, whereas, the said Order was modified by the Order of the Government of India.in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O, 63O(E)|18A|IDRA|77, dated the 24th August, 1977 and the Industrial Reconstruction Corpo- ration of India Limited, Calcutta was authorised to take over the management of the said undertaking;
And, whereas, the duration of the said Order was extended by the Orders of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 784(E)|18A|IDRA|77, dated the 24th November, 1977, No. S.O. 747(E)118A| 1DRA|79, dated the 22nd November, 1979, No. S.O. 90O(E)|18A|IDRA|8O, dated the 21st November, 1980, No. S.O. 827(E)|18A|IDRA|81, dated the 24th November, 1981, No. S.O. 343(E)|18A|IDRA|82, dated the 24th May, 1982, No. S.O. 833(E)|18Aj IDRA|82, dated the 24th November, 1982, No. S.O. 371(E) |18A|IDRA]83, dated the 21st May, 1983 and No.S.O. 855(E) |18A|1DRA|83, dated the 24th November, 1983 for a further period upto and inclusive of the 24th May, 1984;
And, whereas, the Central Government is of opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the duration of the said Order should be extended for a further period upto and inclusive of the 24th. Novem- ber, 1984;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to sub-section (2) of Section 18A of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby directs that the said Order shall congrme to have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of the 24th November. 1984.
