G.S.R. 393 (E): —In exercise of the powers conferred by section S3 of tnj 3t.iadi.Ltii of Wsights and Measures Act, 1976 (60 of 1976), th; Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amsnd thj Standards of Weights and Measures (Packaged Commodi- ties) Rules, 1977, namely ;-
1. (1) Thjse rules may be called the Standards of Weights and Measures. (Packaged Commodities) Third Amendment Rules, 1984.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication
in the Official Gazette.
2. In ths Standards of Weights and Measures (Packaged Commo-
dities) Rules, 1977 :—
(i) in proviso (C) to sub-rule (1) of rule 6, in item (IV) ,the Words
"edible oil, gheo or vanaspati" shall be omitted ;
(ii) rule 22 shallfbe omitted.
