New Delhi, the 27th May, 1984
S.O. 407(E).—Whereas election has been held in pursuance of Notification No. S.O. 348 (E), dated the 1st May, 1984, issued under Section 12 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 ol 1951), for the purpose of filling the seat ot a membra of the Council of States elected by the elected members of the Legis- lative Assembly of the Union Territory of Arunachal Pradesh who retired on 26th May, 1984, on the expiration of his term of office;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 71 of the Represen- tation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the name of the member elected by the elected members of the Legislative Assem- bly of the Union Territory of Arunachal Pradesh is hereby noti- fied for general information :—
