G.S.R. 41) (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred try sub- section U) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the tollovi >ng I urther amend- ment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Depnrtment of Revenue) No. 232-Customs, dated the 5th December, 1979, namely :—
In the said notification, in the second paragraph, for the figuies, letters and words L'31st May,. 1984", the figures, letters and words "31st May, 1985" shall be substituted.
