G-S.R. 431(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 164-Customs, dated the 21st August, 1978, namely:—
In the said notification, for the wotds, brackets, abbreviations, figures and letters "notified by the Government of India, in the Ministry of Commerce, Civil Supplies and Co-operation (Depart- ment of Commerce) in the Public Notice No. 59-ITC(PN) |78, dated the 17th August, 1978", the following shall be substi- tuted :—
"specified in Annexure III to Appendix 22 of Volume I of the Import and Export Policy, April, 3984-March 1985 of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce".
