No. 144|84-CENTRAL EXCISES
G.S.R. 442(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 201|79-Central Excises, dated the 4th June, 1979, namely :—
In the said notification, for the sixth proviso, the follow-
ing shall be substituted ;—
"Provided also that nothing contained in this notification shall apply to the said goods falling under Item No. 38 of the said First Schedule.".
