S.O. 453(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub- Section (i) of Section 5 read with Sub-Section (i) of section 6 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956), the Central Government hereby appoints Prof. H.C. Khare, Department of Mathematics, Allahabod University, Allahabad, and Mr. Justice M. H. Beg, Chairman, Minorities Commission, to be Members of the University Grants Commission for a term of three years vice Prof. C.N.R. Rao and Mr. Justice P.N. Singhal.

This supersedes this Ministry's Notification No. F. 10-69|83
