ORDER
S.O. 439(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), read with rules 2, 4 and 5 of the Development Councils (Procedural) Rules, 1952, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the" Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 277(E), dated the 4th April, 1983 consti- tuting a Development Council for the scheduled industry engaged in the manufacture and production of industrial instruments and scientific instruments, namely : —
2. In the said Order :—
for serial No, 17 and the entry relating thereto, the fol-
lowing shall be substituted, namely :—'
"17. Shri G. Venkataramanan, Joint Secretary, Depart-
ment of Industrial Development, New Delhi.
