No. 146|84-CENTRAL EXCISES

©SIR. 455(E):—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the noti- flfc&tlon of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No, 70|S4-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1984, namely :—

In the Table annexed to the said notification, against S. No. 1, in column (4), the following condition shall be inserted, namely :—

"If such reprocessing from, or production out of, the said

scrap or waste is done in India.".
