No. S.O, 466(E)|18AA|1DRA|84.—Whereas by the Order of thc Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 54t(E)!l8AA|JDRA!79, daied the 22nd September, 197,9 (hereinafter referred to as the said Order), the Central Government had authorised the Secretary, Closed and Sick Industries Department, Department, now CJIICJ as Secretary, Industrial Recon- struction Department, Government

And, whereas, by the Orders of the Government of India in the Ministry of ludusJry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 6 8 2 ( E ) | 1 8 A A| IDRA|82, dated the 21st September, 1982, S.O. 677 (E), dated the 21st September, 1983, S.O. 934 (E) |18AA|IDRA|83, dated the 29th December, 1983, the duration of the said Order was extended upto and inclusive of the 30th June, 1984;

And, whereas, the Centra] Government is of the opinion that it is expedient in the public intereit that the s-a'd Order should continue to have e(Ie:t for a further period upto and inclusive of the 31st De:cm- bcr, 1984;

Now, therefore, "n exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of the section 18AA of the lndus>- tri-cs (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby directs that the said Order shall continue to have effect for a fur- ther period upto and inclusive of the 31st December, 1984.
