2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART IF- SEC. 3Industry and Civil Supplies (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 375(E), dated the 22nd luly. 1975, read with the Orders of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) Nos. S.O. 405(E), dated the 20th June, 1977, S.O. 406(E), dated the 16th July, 1979, S.O. 556(E), dated the 21st July, 1980, S.O. 575(E), dated the 20th July, 1981, S.O. 515(E), dated the 21st July, 1982, S.O. 27(E), dated the 19th January, 1983, S.O. 514(E), dated the 21s July, 1983 and S.O. 948(E), dated the 31st December, J983 the management of the Industrial undertakings known as Messrs Gluconate Limited, Calcutta, had been taken over by the body of persons referred to in the Order first mentioned for a period upto and inclusive of the 30th June, 1984 ;
And, whereas, the Central Government is of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the management of the said industrial under- taking by the said body of persons should con- tinue for a further period upto and inclusive of the 31st December, 1984 ;
Now, therefore, in exercise of trie povirs con- ferred by sub-section (2) of section 18AA of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government hereby directs that the Order first mentioned shall continue to have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of the 31st December, 1984.
