S.O. 471(E).~Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 511(E), dated the 4th September, 1979 (hereinaf- ter referred to as the said Order), read with the Orders of the Government of India in the Ministrv of Industry (Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 678(R), dated the September, 1981, S.O. 645(E), datod the 3rd September, 1982, S.O. 630(E), dated the 3rd September, 1983 and S.O. 951(E), dated the 31st December, 1983, the mana- gement of the whole of the industrial undertaking known as the Indian Health Institute and Laboratory Limited, Calcutta, had been taken over by the Authorised Person referred to in the said Order, for a period upto and inclusive of the 30th June, 1984;
And, whereas, the Central Government is of the opinion that it is expedient in the public interest that the said Order should continue to have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of the 31 st December, 1984;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers con- ferred by the proviso to sub-section (2) of section 18A of the Industries (Development and Regula- tion) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Govern- ment hereby directs that the said Order shall con- tinue to have effect for a further period upto and inclusive of the 31st December, 1984 and that the said Order shall be amended as follows :
In the said Order, for the words "four years nine months and twenty seven days", wherever they occur, the words "five years three months and twenty seven days" shall be substituted.
