G.S.R. 482(E).—la exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amend- ment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 96|81-Cen- tral Excises, dated the 1st April, 1981, namely :—

In the said notification, for the figures, letters and words "30th June, 1984", the figures, letters and words "30th September, 1984" shall be substituted.
