Banks Act, 1976 (21 of .1976), the Central Govern- ment on being requested so to do by Bank of India, establishes with effect from the 30-6-1984 a Regional Rural Bank in the State of Bihar under the name of Giridih Kshetriya Gramin Bank which shall operate within the local limits of the district of Giridih in the State of Bihar.

as the pfece where Giridih Kshetriya Gramm Bank shall have its head office.

Chairman of the Giridih Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Giridih and specifies the period commencing on the 30th June, 1984 and ending with the 30th June, 1987 as the period for which the said Dr. Umesh Rai shall hold office as such Chairman.

S.O. 483 (E).—In pursuance of sub-clause (iii) of clause (a) of sub-section (6) of section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934), the Central Government hereby notifies, for the purpose of the said sub-clause, Giridih Kshetriya Gramin Bank, Giridih being an institution established under sub- section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976).

S.O. 485(E).—In pursuance of cfatee (a) of sub-section (6) of Section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934), the Reserve Bank of India hereby directs the inclusion in the Second Schedule to the said Act of the following bank, namely :

"GIRIDIH KSHETRIYA GRAMIN BANK,

GIRIDIH (BIHAR)".
