NOTIFICATION

G.S.R. 483(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby exempts Transformers of rating above 300 K.V.A. falling under Item No. 68 of the Fust Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), from so much of the duty of excise leviable thereon as is in excess of two and a half percent.
2. This notification shall be in force upto and inclusive of the 36th September, 1984.
