NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 5th July, 1984
G.S.R. 493(E):—Whereas the Central Government is of opinion that it is necessary and expedient in the public interest to exempt all members of the Indian team participating in the Shooting Competitions at the forthcoming Olympic Oamcs scheduled to be held at Los Angeles during July-August, 1984, from certain provisions of the Arms Act, 1959 (54 of 1959);
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 41 of the said Act, the Central Government hereby exempts all the members"o! the Indian team taking pan in the Shooting Com- petitions at the Olympic Games scheduled to be held at Los Angeles during July-August, 1984, from the provisions of sub-sec- tion (2) of section 3 of the said Act till the 30th day of August. 1984.
